Stereotypes Game is at the same time a show and a workshop, performance and interaction. The first production for teenagers by the Israeli choreographer brings to the stage two extraordinary performers who showcase some pieces from Godder’s repertoire, while inviting the public to comment on these performances alongside them, discovering critically and actively the gender concepts and stereotypes that are prevalent when dancing. Male and female roles are deciphered and explored to shed light on the clichés that are imprinted on our worldview when it comes to dance, but also in everyday life.
