Dreaming about the future can help us live, but it can also keep us from living the life that we really want to live. Taneli Törmä’s dancing solo performance is an awakening, an opportunity to rethink about the meaning and the importance of dreams.
Classical Beauty was chosen by the Aerowaves European network as one of the twenty best European dance performances on 2017.
In this show the author and choreographer pursues his dream: to become a great solo ballet dancer. But this dream needs to adapt to today’s context, it needs to be transformed. In this way, Taneli Törmä accomplishes his dream with humor, deep honesty and some unexpected help from some very young dancers.
