Workshop Hombres – Maschi in scena fuori dall’ombra

Theater workshop for male participants curated by Maurizio Cardillo in collaboration with Maschile Plurale Bologna

Age group: adult men

A project that sheds light on the multiplicity of the masculine universe through theater and the poetry of stage presence. The workshop creates theatrical paintings on masculinity that are not linked by any narrative thread.

Each participant is invited to start from himself, his body, his gaze, and his sensibility to compose an overall picture that is nourished by each personal contribution. For this to happen, the leader uses different techniques of improvisation and composition, some original, some suggested by theatrical experiences of contemporary research.

The stated goal is the creation of a final performance.

The journey and the final presentation have equal importance.

No previous theater experience is necessary to participate.

The workshop, which is held weekly, is free of charge and attendance is mandatory, under penalty of exclusion.

10 sessions at the Laura Betti Theater from March to May 2025.

The workshop will take place at the Laura Betti Theater in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The final performance will take place at the Laura Betti Theater on Sunday, May 18.
